I am wondering if there is a dress similar to the one depicted in the attached image below tgat I could purchase, or even better download for free? This image came from a comic book story originally published in 1973.

I think those yellow dots actually represent a belt, I wore such belts in the 70's otherwise it is basically a bodycon dress with a skivvy underneath

The dress is basically this Monique 7 Go-Go Dress with a sweater underneath and a stylized lightweight chain as a belt. Look at SickleYield's "Bondage" products for a chain you can apply a gold or silver shader to and turn it into a belt.

You can probably search on shareCG.com for a chain that goes around the waist if you need to save money.

Lots of long sleeve sweaters in the DAZ Store and 3 or more iRay shader material products for knit fabrics like that sweater would be.

Maybe this freebie would work as the dress: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/free-dress-for-g8f/86688

And you could retexture one of these for the sweater: https://www.wilmapsdigitalcreations.co.uk/view_product.php?id=265

For the belt, maybe take a regular belt from your collection, create rigid follow nodes around it, and attach very short cylinder primitives to them (unless you have a suitable coin prop). Apply a gold shader to the cylinders and you're done.
