I'll venture a guess, those are for there Legal representation staff (the Law firm that represents them), and for Product Artists, not the end user of there software. Just guessing.
I've been on the phone with them and got results pretty quick.
I've called them a couple times in the past, once last year I think when PayPal wasn't working correctly.
Nope sorry this is just fantasy, Caught in a landslide, No escape from reality
MAAMMMAAAA!!!!
Thanks, now it's stuck in my head :-P
Seriously though, I searched EVERYWHERE for that number a few weeks ago, and finally dug far enough through the forums to discover that it had been removed.
Q. What happens when the DAZ skeleton is covering support?
A. No body answers the phone.
The numbers have been on at least some pages for a long time, I'm tempted to say forever. However, support issues will still be logged to Zendesk - phoning isn't a way to jump the queue on those.
C'mon people!
Open your eyes! Look up to the skies and see.
well mine was more of a billing question for my C card was out of date and my membership expired and I didn't want to pay the extra when my card changed. (so maybe it depends? but they answered quickly though (within 15 minutes)
Admittedly not an option considered by me in Australia either

Muppets Bohemian Rhapsody is the possibly the greatest cover song ever done.
And I've called Daz3d on the phone, and spoke to a human or highly capable cyborg but you can call them.
What is the source of that? An email? If so - under the 'Can-Spam' act you're actually required to have a contact phone number (or maybe just phone or address or email, I forget) on all mass-market emails.
- A phone number to be used to unsub from the mailings. Whether or not it can work for any other purpose is up to the company, but it has to at least work as a way to say "stop emailing me".
Can-Spam, which ranks up there on my list of humorous names for legislation, is basically all the rules for mass-marketing to prevent unwanted spam.
- Most of the people in your email spam inbox... they're the people violating that law. Or the people you filtered out rather than just contacted to be unsubbed (and by law, those unsub systems, have to work, and NOT be used to add you to more spam).
(Years ago I filtered out Daz and Renderosity... so I've been going through for the last few weeks and getting them out of my spam filter and back into my inbox... Years ago I didn't know about the Can-Spam act and still believed that unsub links, even from legit companies, were just used to prove I was real so they could sell my info... Then I got a job making those mass-market emails and had to go through making sure we were in compliance with the laws, because our email-blast company would not send our emails unless we had taken all steps to shield them from liability, and made us put all 3 forms of contact).
