Character turns transparent with Xiao Mei HD dress. Why ?

Win7/64Bit - DS4.6.3.52
Dress used Xiao Mei's Finery HD for Aiko 6 and Genesis 2 Female(s) (Dress.duf, DressHD.duf)

- Load two Xiao Mei characters into the scene
- Load Dress.duf to the left Xiao Mei
- Load DressHD.duf to the right Xiao Mei
- Hit Render
-> Character with DressHD turns transparent in render (see image)

This happens also with other characters e.g. Stephanie 6 HD

Am I doing something wrong or is this a DressHD problem ?

Oops, effect is gone after doing a "Reset to Default" of the render settings.
Now both are opaque and look the same.

Tried to reproduce the effect but can't find out which render setting caused it.

That is really strange.. then again, DS has been known to do even stranger things.

Yep, I do not have much time to play with DS but when I do then often strange things happen LOL
Mostly they disappear after DS restart and cannot be reproduced. Useless to write a bug report in such cases.

Btw, nice dress and textures ... works fine now :-)

    Thanks =)

I've had lots of issues with that version of DS, not seen this one is specific yet, but lots of other weird things, and some things which make my job nearly impossible. I really wish I hadn't "upgraded".. but too late now.

That dress was made in an earlier version with far less issues, thankfully.

I've had the transparent figure thing with AoA's shader and motion blur ticked on but no animation in the scene but since you only got it on one figure it's probably some other weirdness...

Maybe it has something to do with motion blur. If I remember right it was ticked on for me too before resetting the render settings to default.
Ticking it on again does not bring back the effect. Seems that DS was in a very "special state" when it happend LOL
