Newbie questions
I started learning Blender 2.9 about 6 weeks ago with the BlenderGuru Doughnut tutorial and am finding 2.9 far more intuitive to me than previous attempts. :-) Anyway, after 4 doughnuts (one with a bite taken out), plate, saucer, coffee cup, spoon and paper bag, I branched out and made a Bagel with cream cheese nearly successfully. ;-)
So my problem - I used ParticleSetting to cover the top with poppy seeds, but when I render in Cycles more than half of them disappear 'inside' the top. They are visiable in the other two viewport views and Eevee render. Cycles render attached. There are only 2 seeds and the Number is cranked up to these many to show in Cycles. If I can fix this I can reduce the size, and number.
So my question - is there a way to make the poppy seeds sit on top of the bagel so more of them are visiable.
Thanks for any suggestions you are able to give me.

Do you have displacement on something?
If so, you need to adjust whee the particles rest.
I do have displacement on the bagel. So I need to dial back the displacement? Or you say 'adjust where the particles rest' - could I adjust them to sit 'ontop' of the displacement effect? Could you point me in the direction of a tutorial/explaination how?
Thanks for the help.
Thanks for the suggestion Nicstt, I turned down the displacement a little and found turning off Object Scale under Render\Collectons seemed to increase them too. No I think I'll try a banana next :-)
