Extra Arms

How do I add an extra set of arms to Genesis or Genesis 2 character? I have this character I created in Poser, however, I think I may want to move everything into Daz3D. Below is what I created in Poser.

For Genesis, there's http://www.daz3d.com/four-arms-for-genesis There are also a few characters by RawArt that already use it as a base and they might get you a little closer to your goal: http://www.daz3d.com/bar-soomian http://www.daz3d.com/triclops

No easy Genesis 2 solution that I'm aware of

The low-budget workaround is to just load a second copy of your figure and hide everything but the arms. They won't naturally blend with the figure, however it is possible that this may be hidden/disguised by the clothing and/or camera angle and lighting or strategically placed foreground objects. As an example, I did it with this figure; two copies of the figure, two copies of the lab coat. You can see where the overlap is, but I'm hoping it sort of just looks like another seam in the coat where the sleeve would be sewn on, I think it turned out halfway decent.

    Sean,
Funny you should say that because that's how I created it in Poser. I'm kind of now just really getting into Daz3D after years of toying with it. I'll give it a try and see if I can mimic the work. Thank you very much!

Thank you again for sharing. A while ago, I had been looking for a way to do this; seeing this again, I have something special in mind.
