What? No oppossum model!

I'm flabbergasted. We really, really, really, really need a cute but realistic possum model. With babies preferably. Way cooler than dragons!

Who is this 'we" you speak of?

And how could a possum model be both cute and realistic?

There is a Monster Rat that looks like a opossum in the store with razor teeth & all. Also, if you enlarge the DAZ mouse and put him in a tree & enlarge him & pose him like a opossum, you'd be surprised at how much a mouse in a tree winds up looking like a opossum.

The Purgatorius by Dinoraul resembles an opossum: https://www.renderosity.com/rr/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=81825&&; And I agree with you, JStryder. Opossums are an ugly kind of cute and I wouldn't mind seeing one with babies appear in the store some day.

Thanks for your suggestions! I would love a fully rigged model of comparable quality, or better yet by, AM: https://www.daz3d.com/alessandroam?

Possums are wonderful for storytelling, they have a unique persona and most people have encountered one, unlike dragons. I'm writing stories in which possoms play a role, which is why I'd like a good 3D model to use with illustrations. I've looked elsewhere without finding anything of 'AM quality" and much at very high prices!

They do like to steal pet food at night. I walked right up on one that bared it's needle like razor teeth at me and scared me like I thought it was a giant rat with rabies. I didn't know they'd come in your house to chow down if you didn't make sure the back door was securely shut.

  • I'd like an Opossum (this is the North American kind), and also a Possum (which is the Australian kind). Possums are definitely cuter.
