animation rendered size problem

Hi everyone I'm having some issues when I've rendered a large Dinosaur out (Spinosaurus) I want the model to walk into shot and away from camera infront but when I place the rendered animation on the clip I've filmed it seems to shrink too much as it walks into short distance? Any tips on the best angle to render out out better so it still looks gigantic as it appears in documentaries, etc?

Does anybody need to see a clip of what I'm doing for guidance?

Chears, Ian. :)

It's possible that your camera's focal length is much shorter than that of the camera used for the background - that will make perspective more exaggerated, including a greater size falloff with distance I think. If it's your background, try matching the focal length (remembering that there's a very long thread discussing the differences between Renderman and real-world focal length), if it's a third-party background and you don't know how it was made or shot you may have to experiment.
