Wacom Tablet problems connecting to DAZ4 (menus, tools, etc. not working with my Wacom/Intuos 3

I am new to DAZ. I use a WACOM Intuos 3 tablet and my pointers will not directly access menus, tabs, tools, etc. I also cannot open/close tool windows or adjust parameters using the mouse. I must use keyboard shortcuts except from menus opened from the keyboard. Very frustrating. HELP?

I have an Intuos (1) Graphite Special Edition and have the same problem but if I use the pen instead of the 4D mouse it will work

I have an Intuos3 too - Dazstudio's behavior is a bit erratic (camera controls and so on are jumping), but it does work with the menus fine.

Hmmm interesting, no problems at all here using an Intuos 3 with Studio 4 Pro and Mac OSX 10.6. I always tweak the sensitivity down around the normal end, the Tip Feel to light and set Pen mode not Mouse mode in the Wacom prefs.

There is a bug report here:

(Bugs needs a new account - you could use your same username as here to make things easier)

The issue here is actually a bug that is related to wacom's drivers and the qt framework that is used in designing the user interface of a LOT of programs. Both QT and Wacom are not doing much about resolving the bug, and I'm not sure if it's coming from QT's end or Wacom's.
