Editing Keyframes in KeyMate

I'm preparing to export morphs to 3DExchange. I add a keyframe to frame 1. I select it, then select the first viseme morph and give it a value of one. Then I add a second keyframe to frame 2, thinking, it will be empty. Nope. The first morph is in it. I delete it, and add the second viseme morph to the second frame. I save the file. I check back on the first keyframe. Be damned! The second morph has written itself into it. A dozen keyframes later I'm playing a serious game of whack-a-mole.

Please tell me there's a way to stop this unwanted morph propagation. Bigger numerical values? More space between frames? A separate track for each morph? A "Do only what I tell you to do" checkbox? Why on Earth is this tool writing wherever it pleases?

Thanks.
