I was wondering what Poser folder I should use to move my V4 content from Daz to be used it Poser?
I used all the default locations for both.

If you are using Poser 8 or above you dont have to move anything you only need to tell Poser where the content is.

You should not need to move anything.

Just add the folder that holds the 'Runtime' as a Library in Poser. The only difference when using V4 inside DAZ Studio are the materials that are made for DS, V4 is in Poser format anyway.

Add a new library to Poser, Click on the Plus icon at the top of the libraries tab, and browse to the folder that 'holds' the runtime you want to add.

Standard V4 is legacy rigged and works in all versions of Poser from P6 and up. You can load V4 in P5 but you will get the standard warning box that it was made in a newer version of Poser.

Products designed for use with V4 will work in the same versions of Poser. If the product comes with IDL lights those lights will only work in P8 or better. If products come with python scripts, you may have to pay attention the version number they work in. There were changes to Python in P8 and then again in P9. I don't believe there were any major changes to Python in P10.

If you want to use Genesis, G2F/M, or anything that has duf files or lists a DSON installer, you will need to own P9 or better and the DSON importer for Poser. You do not need to have DS installed on your system to use DSON importer.
