Photometric profile?

I've search the Carrara 7 manual as well as the unofficual Carrara 8 guide, but cannot find any e=xplanation about a ligyht's photometric profile!

Can somebody please enlighten (no pun) me?

I don't have C8, but I think you need to look for IES lights. Not sure where that option is located.
