Website too Slow, can't buy

Not sure what's going on, but for about a week or so, the Daz website, store especially, loads REALLY slow. Promo images aren't even loading. It makes shopping impossible.

I have cleared cache, reset internet, restarted computer, all to no avail.

Daz is the ONLY website I'm having this slow down with. Other sites and stores such as Rdna and Rendo don't give me this issue.

It's very frustrating to not be able to shop anymore here :(

Though perhaps its a good thing- seems like everything is around $20 bucks or more at Daz these days. Oof.

Have you tried physically rebooting your Router / Modem ?

Sorry, that's what I meant when I said "reset the internet" i meant the router modem thing. I'm not very computer word savvy. :)

Sorry you're having trouble- one of the best times I've found to shop is 3am-4am- when the site turns over around 1am (Central time) it can slow down- but it perks back up a few hours later. It gets busy in the US again around 7am and across the pond is on then too. When are you finding the lag? (I haven't had any trouble.)

it's pretty much around the clock for me Novica. I'm in Asia and on pretty much night or day. I check at least 5-6 times. But just having so many issues :(

Have you defragmented your drives? Last year that seemed to help me, or it could have been a coincidence. Sorry you're having trouble. But this reminds me- I haven't heard of anyone having CloudFare issues like we all had last year. Remember that? I was off half a day at times.

I encouter the same problem - from time to time - sometimes the site doesn't load at all. The forum Thread doesn't load for month (only the main forum sites load but not the Threads).
I find out that this will happen only with IE11.
With Google Chrome there are no Problems.

If you use Internet Explorer, too try using Google Chrome.

The issue may be between you and daz, not necessarily on your end at all. You mentioned you're in Asia, and that's a long way from Utah, USA. Plenty of routing locations for things to go awry.

Open up an elevated command prompt (start button, type cmd, right click > run as admin).

    Type this in: ping www.daz3d.com

When the results are finished, right click the windows title bar and edit > select all, then hit Enter to copy the selection. Paste the results here.

This sort of thing's been going on for much more than a week. In addition to what Belovedalia said in the original post, I've been running into this issue nearly every time I try putting something in my cart:

It usually takes at least a full day for anything to finally appear in my cart.

That one usually happens when you put something in your cart without being fully logged in to the store. Make sure you are logged in (remember the store and the forum are 2 separate entities, so you can be logged in to the forum, but not the store) THen add another item to your cart. Any item, it doesn't matter because now you should see the original item in your cart and can remove the one you didn't want.

Are you getting a Clouflare error, about the daz forum being down? I've been getting that for well over an year. If I'm not logged in it claims there is no live version of the site, which is patently untrue, since it does load (usually) if I am logged in. Supposedly Cloudflare should speed up browsing and reduce server load. Unfortunately part of the reduced load is due to people like me, who cannot access the forum, because for whatever reason they are "seen" as bots by Cloudflare.
I'm using Opera, I'll perhaps try Chrome.

Try clearing out your DAZ cookies, especially the front end one.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it earlier but it didn't work for me. Deleting the cloudflare cookies in addition to DAZ's had an effect (loading pages was much slower) but it eventually ended up in the no-cache-available page. :-S
