Wilmap: ShareCG Acct_SOLVED_Move Along People-Nothing To See Here

Hello Wilmap,

I am currently logged in over at ShareCG downloading a few things, and I ventured over to one of your downloads.

Instead of a download, there is a 305 byte text file, and this is for a three-part download. So, I moved on to parts two, and three, and they display the same text file.

I checked a few more of your products, and they are all showing the same text file in lieu of a download (as download).

I have downloaded from other authors no problem today, and have downloaded some of your models in the past with no issues.

A while back there were some hacked files on ShareCG that ended up containing viruses, so I don't download anything but a dedicated ZIP/RAR file that can be confirmed.

It might be nothing, maybe you decided to have people download a text file containing a link to an actual download from somewhere else now (dropbox, etc.), or maybe your acct has been hacked. Just wanted to give you a heads up...

    Have you read the text file? Or even looked at the image. It tells you there that all my free stuff is now on my new website!

    Okay... Now I see...

    No, I did not download the text files, because if you notice in my post above I stated that due to previous site hacking I don't download any "open" format (text, OBJ, 3DS, etc.).

    And, no, I did not see the giant-in-your-face banner across your images, because I was blindly downloading while doing other tasks on auto-pilot. My bad... Sorry for the inconvenience. Case solved...

    Let's chalk it up to I need more coffee. Take care...

    Love the new site! I haven't been to ShareCG since you made that change, but you've got things organized way better now anyway. :) Thanks in advance for all the goodies I'll be downloading later. lol. You make some amazing stuff, Wendy.

    Yes, she does. And she's extremely kind and generous as you'll soon learn.

    Actually, the new website is much quicker to download stuff. On ShareCG - which is cool, by the way - you can download one file at the time, because the rest of tabs you open won't load.

    Good Good Good!!! I was unable to download from ShareCG because all files become corrupt.

    On ShareCG - which is cool, by the way - you can download one file at the time

    Same goes for uploading, one file at a time, which is a pain if you wanted to upload quite a few files, one reason why only a very limited amount of mine ever ended up on share CG.

    I swear that uploader gadget knows when one even leaves the room, let alone the page! I tested it one night. Everytime I left the room, the upload failed just after I left visual range of the computer. And the camera is covered. hmmm ...

    That's not even mentioning the messy cookies from that site. :P If you sign in with the "keep me logged in for two weeks" option, then close all tabs that are open to ShareCG, after a day or two the site won't even load again until you delete cookies. I love the concept, and all the free resources I've found there, but the site leaves lots to be desired (or at least fixed)...
