HOLIDAY-SPIRIT coupon invalid?

trying to make a purchase with the new pre-christmas sale. at first at checkout everything seems to be working fine, before purchase. i edited some stuffs in my cart suddenly my coupon becomse invalid? cleared my cart and do it with some items still coupon invalid? i havent made any purchase or order yet. anyone experience same problem?
