Help with Ape World Gorilla: It's Not Hairy

Purchased Ape World and the one problem i am having is when I render the gorilla, the surface is fairly smooth, the model is not hairy like in the pictures. I've tried just about every hair, material, texture and surface options, what have you. I just can't any sort of fuzziness or furriness.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Do you have the free Look At My Hair Player installed?

Yes, I found that, installed, have no idea how it works. Tried every option I could find, I am sure I am doing something wrong.

Are you loading the preset "4_GorillaLAMH-CHR"?

Thought I tried that but I now get hair.

However, it's very wiry and patterned. I tried a bunch of button pushes to get it more fuzzy and natural looking. No luck.

I'm not figuring out how you dial in the hair to make it look natural.

Thanks for the help so far.

In the viewport you just see the guide hairs, you need to render in 3delight to get the fur.

Remember that the LAMH window needs to remain open while you render or it won't export the hair to 3Delight.
