It looks like you have an extra morph in there somehow. My Genesis base female looks as expected.

If you go to the Parameters pane with Genesis selected, and the Base Female morph applied, have a look at the 'Currently Used' option near the top of the Parameters pane to see if there are any other morphs dialled in as well?

thanks for taking a look at it..
the currently used option shows nothing but the genesis female morph..

The other thing to try then, is to go to the Parameters pane, select Genesis without any morph shapes applied, and use the 'Zero' options from the drop-down menu. I would try all three of them, Figure, Shape and Pose just to be sure.

Then apply the Base female shape to see if that corrects it. If it does, save a copy of the zeroed item over the base genesis DUF file in your Content Library so that it doesn't keep loading the corrupted figure.

If none of that works, you may need to reinstall the Base Genesis figure again.

Does the base Genesis load correctly, or is it female as soon as it loads? There are a couple of free morphs that load set to 1, and as those are their default values they don't show in Currently Used.

Do you have CJ-Studio's "Ideal Beauty: Hip for Genesis" (http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/ideal-beauty-hip-for-genesis/95422/) installed?

I think what you're seeing is an unintended interaction between Genesis and this product -- it happens when it's installed and you apply the Basic Female morph to the Genesis figure -- and the more above .3 you go, the worse it looks. In the Parameters tab, under Actor, you'll find a setting labeled "UseHipFix", and I'll bet you it's set at 100%. Slide it down to at least 25%, and the problem becomes mostly unnoticeable.

I know that if you remove the CJ-Studio subdirectory and files from data\DAZ 3D\Genesis\Base\Morphs, this problem goes away. I'm not saying that they're the SOURCE of the problem -- maybe another fix is interacting badly with this fix -- but it does eliminate the problem.

    Hope that helps...

There was a problem with another bend correction product recently - if this is the issue it's probably worth reporting to both DAZ and the author, so that either the product or DS can be fixed (depending on the root cause).
