Our mistake is your gain!

During yesterday’s Week 1 Catch-Up Sale we incorrectly advertised that you could get up to 50% Off all last week's new releases. This was not our intention, nor will this be our offering in our next Catch Up Sale. But since we advertised it, we are going to honor it for the rest of the day!

Why would someone want a catch-up sale next week if there are neither punches (okay) nor higher discounts (not okay) than the regular 2 weeks 30% intro discount ? -.-

    The issue I'm having is the part about "Your punch discount from last week will also be included for additional savings."

    I tried one of "Our mistake is your gain"items, but last week's punch discount didn't show up.

    Where are you seeing that info?

    There's a banner that says, "Log in and check out the onsite message for details"
    I logged in and still don't see it. Clicked on the scrolling banner and get nothing.

    Checked the Message tab in My Account too, but nothing there.

    Hmm! I tried it and it did... I tried Sabby Jamie at $7.47 in the store (50% off) and $6.73 in the cart.

    When did you reach the threshold? I ask because maybe you fell into the category of folks who were not marked as 'reached a threshold', for whatever reason, on Sunday.

    It's inconsistent. The first item I tried, "DA Roller Skates", came in at 50% off. I also tried "Predatron Shipping Containers", and that came in at 60%, exactly right for my +20% worth of punches.

    Ah! DesignAnvil is on sale today because they have a release out today; they weren't part of last week's 50% off sale. (I know this because I also picked up two DA items this morning, the awesome nightmare and the awesome fire drake. :) )

    So the category is all PA 50% off sales, but some artists are in it because they're on sale today (and you'd have to be at 5, 10, or 15 punches for this week to get a discount) and some artists are in it from last week's sale, and your last-week discount applies to them.

    I think you figured it out. I must have had a brain freeze. If Design Anvil had been one of the vendors last week, I'd have gotten that DA Terrorsaur that's been sitting in my wishlist for months. ;)

    And yes, I too got the Nightmare this morning.

    When DAZ messes up - and they mess up a lot - I'm usually one of the first to point fingers and send mean words and the good china in their direction. That's why I believe when they do something right, I should give them a bit of praise as well. DAZ, it was a very nice move of you to adjust the catch-up sale according to your ad and I hope this shows - in a positive way - in your bottom line for this month.

    Also a personal thank you, due to the loss of my cc I couldn't really take any part in the first week of the PA sale. I still find it a bit lackluster, but there are nice items there and I'm glad I was able to pick them up. I probably wouldn't have picked up any 1st week release if it wasn't for this. Again, Thank you, DAZ.

    A bit disappointed with this as well. The catch-up sale is not really a catch-up sale, so I basically won't get anything I put on my wishlist this week.
