Hi all I recently purchased several rooms for the DreamHome from Daz . Dim installed half of them properly but a few others simply went to Poser library . But my querry is the hot tub in the bathroom has the floor going across the top of it and when I try to section it the entire floor is selected. Is there a way to remove that piece of floor from the tub opening? Thank you for any help.

That's right. The various bits and pieces of the complete Dream Home collection were released over... hmm, several months at least, I can't remember how long it took. This was about the same time that DAZ|Studio was first released, and the first half dozen or so Dream Home sets only have Poser files — there are no D|S materials presets like there are for all the later items.

Just to confuse things a bit more, some of the extra texture sets for Poser-only items came out late enough to have D|S materials included.

IIRC it was over 18 months, if not longer.. that project aged me ;)

Worth it when we see what came out of it; that was the first DAZ big project to go on my "automatic buy" list, everything still works well even in modern D|S versions, and I still use chunks of Dream Home today.

Thanks good to hear, thanks :)

I learnt so much, that I think I could be a much better job of it second time around.. however that idea still feels me with dread so I've not worked up the strength yet :D
