OT--Redbox?

I work mostly nights and weekends, so thought I would watch a movie this morning. Redbox said they would have Captain America 2 today, but I looked about 7 this morning (GMT-6) and it wasn't even showing up in the new releases. About an hour later it did show up on the site, but the only places it was available were two Walgreen's stores in Florida (I don't live in Florida). Now it seems to be showing up in a few more places, but still not within 50 miles of me?

Anybody know what the deal is? I'd think with a blockbuster move like this, they'd have about 20 of them in every box.

it's supposed to be released today on Redbox but it's been out for Xbox live for about a month.

You can also get it from Google Play if you want to watch it on your computer $5 to rent $15 to buy

Vudu as it for $5 rent as well

but there are a bunch of reviews on Redbox today with people really angry at them not distributing it to their local machine.

Yeah, ive widened the search, cant even find it within 100 miles, its probably not even in the whole state.
I posted a review on redbox (along with a lot of others) saying I couldnt find it, and got a reply from them saying in effect, not all movies are available right away in every box. Check back throughout the week. Ummm, that was a great amount of non-information.
Really, im not upset at redbox, because I suspect this has more to do with their licencing agreements than anything else. Remember the good old days (about 4 years ago) when you could rent a movie the same day it went on sale? But then the studios said, hey, were not selling very many dvds, lets fix this.
I could get it on amazon, but dont really want to rent for 5 bucks. May just have to wait on the box.

Probably going to buy it for $15 on line at wallmart or target and pick it up from the store on the way home from work, I don't mind the $1 rental but I probably watch it more than once and it's one less trip in the car I have to make to bring it back.
