Sorry,

I've gone back in the archive because I needed the Cool Coils - BUT - I've forgotten what has to be done to make the coils SHOW - right now, all I see are the wisps... any one remember how to bring the coils in?

I really need it bad!

Thanx in advance!

Hm, not sure what you mean - it loads like this for me per default (in DS 4.6):

Is this a current download? I thought the issue had been fixed - if not, it is easy to do; just remove the opacity map from the curls.

Actually, I found it in my product library and installed it FRESH yesterday. When I applied it to my models head, NO coils... I too that it had been remedied. And I'm running the newest Daz Studio as well, 4.6.3. 52 I believe is the most current?

How? I'll give it a go, but I'm not sure what I'm doing.

I'm also using 4.6.3.52 (64 bit), and just downloaded Cool Coils yesterday with DIM as I'm building a new runtime.

Check if Opacity is set to 0, if it is, set it to 100%:

Nope, that's the first thing that I checked, I tried everything that I could think of. It was set at 100% - and still I get what you see, no coils. I haven't a clue of how to get rid of the opacity file - or whatever it is. I had this problem a few years ago using it, and was told how to make them show up, but that was over 3 or 4 years ago and I've forgotten how to make them come in.

Try to check the "Cool Coils.hr2" file and see if the Coils use the same transparencyMap as the Scalp. If they do, try to change it to NO_MAP instead, as in the screenshot here.

I will give it a try, will have to find it and then, I'll do it - we'll see what happens.

Just click the square next to the Opacity slider and from the menu pick None.

Thank you - yes - the morphed features I did from the features of a friend of the family - but the texture I used is here...
