How to use Aged for M4

Sorry for the beginner question. I'm using DAZ 4.6 on the mac. I purchased and installed M4 Base, M4 morphs, and Aged for M4. However I can't seem to generate the sliders I expect to be able to move and age this character. Am I missing something?

Under the Content Library tab, I see Aged for M4 --> "Poses" and "Materials." I think I'm supposed to also have "Characters," however the install manager says I've installed everything. Here's what I installed.

Aged for M4
Aged for M4
Aged for M4 PowerLoader

In DAZ, I can load M4. I can see the poses and materials, though I don't know what to do with them. Double click? Drag onto the figure? I tried both and they don't seem to change the character much. I'm perplexed as to why I can't find instructions on how to inject a morph and I suspect I'm doing it wrong.

I should add that I am new to Daz and injecting morphs, but I sort of thought this would be self-explanatory. Thanks for help or links to a tutorial. I can't fins instructions for this product either (Aged).

You should be getting a Powerloader popup to quickly inject what you want on load. If not, you can manually inject them via Poser Format > Library > Pose > Daz's Michael 4 > Morph Injections > Aged for M4.

To get the Powerloader to show, hold down the CTRL button and double click on M4 when you load him. There should be a checkbox in the lower left to show on import.

Thanks Vaskania. I'm afraid I still can't figure this out. When I use your pathway, I can see "AgedHands" and "AgedHead" in the Content Library tab, that's it. See screenshot 1. Should there be more, like AgedBody" or something? But how do I "inject" them? Double click? Drag onto Michael?

And I still do not see anything related to Aged in the Parameters tab. See screenshot 2. I only see basic transform parameters. I assume that if see Aged under content I should see AgedHands and AgedHead as parameter sliders.

Grrrr. I wonder if this doesn't work on the Mac.

To inject, simply double click the icons while M4 is selected. Those 2 files are all that exist for the morph injection, the rest is handle with the mats.

Generation 4 worked differently than Genesis or Genesis 2. You'll need to click on his head to see the slider for the head. The hands however should be showing up in your screenshot if you've injected them.

This leads me to two possibilities: a) M4 and the morphs are installed in two different runtimes, and/or b) the morphs aren't initialized.

If they are in the same runtime, go to the library you installed them to and go to Runtime > libraries > !DAZ. You should see a DzCreateExPFiles-M4 file (.command extension I believe for a Mac). Run this file with Daz Studio closed and see if that helps things.

There is an old thread http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/21563/ that discusses this. Look at Jaderail's post (his wisdom lives on) to get the poser format and daz format content library locations... its for V4 but M4 is same.

I reinstalled all 6 components in DIM. Then After I injected the base, morphs++, and aged morphs from the Poser format locations and then found the poses folder on the DAZ format location it transformed his body. It is very confusing but hope this helps.

Thanks again Vaskania and Mr. Poser.
I ran the script that Vaskania mentioned and I also I figured something out this morning. When I put Michael into the scene from the "Content Library" tab, rather than from the "Actors" tab, I got the powerloader dialogue box and was able to select the Aged sliders and they're now available. Not sure which change I made did the trick, but many thanks for your attention. Mr. Poser, I will check that thread as well. You folks are great!
