fix avi file output

Hi

when i render an scene on daz 3d sometimes it will be blank half way through the video or at the start of the video
after it is finished the render

    This is why it is strongly advised that you render to an image sequence and then use an external editor to assemble the images. Rendering to AVI is risky, it puts all your eggs in one basket (if anything fails you lose everything), it loses any alpha channel (useful for compositing), it doesn't allow for substituting a single frame or group of frames t correct issues, and it doesn't add sound

    Been fussing with this for a week now.

    If the output avi gets too big, DAZ corrupts it. At 800x600 resolution, I could put 2500 frames in one avi. At 1024x768, I can't put 1500 frames in one avi.

    What windoze program do you suggest for assembling the images? I have Microsoft's "Movie Maker" for windows 8 in my 64 bit machine.

    Getting sick of this.

    I use VirtualDub personally. It's free and has some useful post-processing tools built in. You can pick it up here: http://www.virtualdub.org/

    I just tried virtualdub. Seems to do nicely, except what are these flickering dashes in the red? They don't seem to appear in other colors.
