Does anyone here know if anyone has converted a DAZ character to 3 DMAX - VRAY with all the textures and not just with the diffuse ?

You can use the DAZ to Max plugin which does an okay job, but if you really want the true benefit of using Vray, it's better to convert the materials yourself, because then you have better control of what's going on and how things will look. I mean, you can just as easily tweak the materials afterwards, but doing it yourself also helps teach you how different things work and behave in Vray, which is a much better longterm solution.
