Fbx export

Hi all,

im still getting to grips with using daz studio so please bear with me :-)

is it possible to just export the bones (with position data) only while exporting an fbx file?

    What is it that you are trying to do that you only want to export the rigging? Normally a mesh is parented to a rig so that the bones can move it (when it's properly weighted), so what would you hope to accomplish?

    HI

    thanks for replying :-) i do a lot of exporting genesis 2 figures into cinema 4d, ive just worked out how to make some simple clothing and have it attach to the figure using the transfer utility and it works fine in C4D :-)

    while everything is still posable, i lose the ability to add complex poses to my figure there so i was wondering if i could just export the posed bone structure so all i need to do is bind it to the skin?
