More info ... are these to be visible clothing items or for use under garments? If the latter morphs might be a better option as applied clothing will not recognize it as a collision item.
Hello, Patience55,
Thanks for your reply,
I would like to have these shoulder Pads to be Part of avatar and rigged so that they are dynamic and as cloth collision item.
I do not know how to explain, I am Using Marvelous designer to show my designs (see attached Images) for Coats, Jackets,Blazers.
Without Shoulder Pads the dresses look horrible and not good looking.
I am using above static avatar to drape the dresses, I can not change the size or Pose the avatar.
in the rendered image you can see the shoulder part the draping is not very good, I could able to achieve a little better in "modified" pose.
But on draping the coat patterns on OBJ Avatar with shoulder pads in Marvelous designer the drape is improved a lot and the dress look very good and attractive.
When I change the Pose the Shoulder pads should move along with the shoulder pose. Hope you understood my requirements.
- if shoulder part is modified to look as or shaped as shoulder pads and apply as morph target. since these parts are covered by cloths, no need to worry about the shape of the the shoulder. ( no need to have shoulder pad parts) this IMO and view only.
thanks
Made a little speedchallenge out of this for myself.
These were quickly slapped together in MD3, just a simple shape that i pinned to the avatar and then imported in DS, rigged with the transfer utility. They hold out pretty well when posing and morphing G2M, better than i expected.
I don't mind sharing them (if you think they're shaped well enough), just let me know.
hi BlackFeather1973,
Thanks for this and also rigging part.
The shoulder pads placements are to be made beyond the shoulder tip. ( I am not a CG artist - Me as a pattern maker and fashion designer - mostly using genesis avatars for draping and pose purpose only and for rendering also). In MD3 you can export the pads with thickness of 10 mm and rigged to the body parts, this will be much helpful
:-)
thanks
Better now ?
good :-)
