Wardrobe doesn't the Characture

I had been out of action for about 6 months,Just before Daz, added Daz Central and before Daz Studio 4.15. 

there has been many changes during this time.  Example If I load a Gen8 Male, when I try to load the wardrobe to Gen 8 male. I get a dropdown  message to choose Gen 3male or Gen3 female. When I only have those choices and try to load  it to a Gen 3 because that is the closest to the charature the shirt arms pop up, on a female the legs of the cloths spread. Something has change. what did I miss during this change

    Fit Control

    You didn't choose a Gen 8 wardrobe item. That only pops up when you pick any other generation (Victoria 1-4, Genesis to Genesis 3) besides the one the figure is (Genesis 8).
