Why does DAZ take no action against file sharing sites?

There are several sites, I'm not talking about torrent sites, that offer access to the majority of daz products for a fee. I've reported multiple of those sites in the past but no action has been taken so far it seems. I didn't even get replies to those emails.
Some of those servers are located in the EU so it shouldn't be hard to take them down.
Does DAZ even care about protecting their artists' income and properties?

DAZ absolutely does care about it, they have taken actions about such kind of sites before and they most probably have or will in the case of the sites you've reported.
But contrary to what you seem to think it's not that easy to get a result in such a situation...
I'm pretty sure there's a thing called notice-and-takedown, if the provider ignores it, daz should be able to take legal action. It's almost a year ago that I've sent these mails.
If you report to DAZ, please do it through the "Contact Us" system which you can get to either by looking under help at the top of the page or scroll right down and see it at the bottom.
Then file a ticket, using Report Copyright Abuse as the dept. This is for intellectual property issues or reporting piracy. The ticket will then be on file, so you can see that it has been actioned by checking your existing requests at the top of that page.
Also, some of these sites are located in countries that do not care about copyright and such and even have a social mindset that it is not illegal to do this type of thing, so getting results is much harder. Just gotta keep letting DAZ and other companies know about the thieves.
I did it like that, but didn't know you could keep track of the requests. I see it's still "processed", that's pretty long don't you think? I've seen sites been taken down within a week.
@FSMCDesigns: the biggest is like I said in the EU.
I've reported a bunch of these over time and Daz3D has been pretty good about following up but as it was already stated many of these sites are in countries that don't have copyright laws or don't really care that it's a law in another country and if you actually do get a link shut down it likely pops up elsewhere in an endless game of whack-a-mole for the legal distributor.

If you made your report to the Copyright Abuse department please add a note to bump it - you should have had at least an acknowledgement. As others have said a lot of these sites are hard to take down - and they are not always based where they appear to be.
Its also likely that many are in countries that do have such laws, but people think they do not, so give up trying to get results.
Some places people traditionally think are 'outside the borders of international law' have actually been getting a lot better at working in the system of things - as doing business across borders means sharing resources on some basic rule-of-law issues.
So just because the site has odd characters after the last 'dot', don't assume they're able to get away - report it. Also don't assume Daz knows about it already or that somebody else reported it. These things can come and go daily...
You also have places that allow or don't have any law prohibiting torrent, warez, file sharing or whatever you wanna call it. The likelihood of getting those places to cooperate is slim to none.
And there may be the possibility that your alert fell through the cracks ... that DOES happen with the Daz report system.
In that case things stay open and nobody from DAZ has seen it.
Following Richard's advice to give it a bump is a good idea.
It doesn't hurt to rate the sites that link to hosts with things like Web of Trust but it's amazing how many of those supporters go on WOT and pump the sites as legitimate. Some sites are asking for memberships so you can download the stolen goods after you pay them!.
How nuts is that!?
It's even worse than that, trust me. I tracked down some of my content using some "not to be disclosed" methods and found out the following really nasty thing going on.
1 Anonymous Person, hereby called "Thief", uses paypal to purchase and download content (this was not DAZ store though).
2 Thief upload content to sites where you either pay for membership or watch commercials for 2 minutes waiting for the download to start.
3 Thief now posts numerous links to The Thiefs "freebees" on numerous 3D related sites, I found over 20 different posts to the package where my stuff was a tiny part. Thief used the official promos in his posts, showing the quality of the Thiefs talent.
4 The site pays the thief per $1 / GB of stuff Thief uploaded that was downloaded by someone else, pays to paypal.
5 Goto 1
Edit:
The Site is located in China, the Thief is located in Indonesia, is a she, and even used DeviantArt to link to the "freebees".
DAZ can also try to contact Google, the DCMA could possibly apply and if it's the case, the sites will get deindexed by Google, which in these days is equal to a death sentence for those sites
