Member's Only forums Missing from My View - Active PC Member

I let me pc membership lapse for a few days before renewing it and now I don't see the Members Only forum any longer even though my PC membership is active. Can someone take a look at my access please?

    If you look at your profile, you will see that you are not showing as a PC member.

    It may take a short while for your status to be changed, but you would need to contact Support about this, DAZ 3D seldom read the forums.

    Ughh. In my account view it shows me as active. I loathe the ticket system. Reactivated two days ago to get the discount on a purchase. I'll open a ticket and begin the long wait if it hasn't resolved itself by Monday.

    I joined the PC+ club this past Sunday having been a PC member previously. I put in a ticket on Monday after not getting access to the Members only forum.

    I just got a reply yesterday, but it was only the generic "we are looking into the problem, try to find the answer yourself" response.

    I am so far not impressed with my return to the PC club >:-(

    Having to open a support ticket when for so long we could just phone them up and get it handled straight away is such a poor user experience. I had to wait 4 days once to get a $200 + refund. That sucked and since I've just loathed the idea of using the ticket system.

    I did get a response from support saying they were in the process of fixing a known issue with the Members Only forum.

    They reset my PC club membership to see if that would help and also suggested clearing the browser cache/cookies and/or trying a different browser, but that did not allow me access to the Members forum.

    I will post any updates on the progress towards resolution.

    They are still messing around with changing settings on my account, but I still have not been able to get access to the members only forum. :blank: They have updated my ticket twice with actual responses (ignoring the first generic response)

    This happened to someone else recently and they posted in the commons and its was fixed for them.

    Eh. I'll see if they can resolve it through the ticket since Ann indicated that her quick fix for Szark might get undone. If they can't resolve it in a timely manner, that just gives me a reason to let the PC membership lapse again (I cancelled my membership two years ago just before the PC club celebration because they were charging full price for PC membership renewals instead of the discount $69.95 renewal rate).

    The funny thing is that even though I have not been a PC/PC+ member for the past two years, I have continued to receive the PC club newsletters throughout that whole time period. :roll:

    You should now be updated to have access to Members Only.

    I have the same problem. I've renewed 10 days ago and still no access to PC forum :( Thanks for any help!

    Nakiloe,

    Have you opened a request through the Help center? That was the first thing that I did when I did not get access to the members forum section and based on another forum topic discussing this problem, it sound like they are actually able to get this fixed (there have been quite a few topics about this in the Commons and the New Users forum sections: e.g. http://www.daz3d.com/forums/viewreply/699034/ ).

    Worst case scenario, if they are not able to get you fixed through the Help center, try sending a PM to Jack Tomalin or one of the other forum admins.

    I was one of the ones that did not get a resolution from support even though that was where I first reported the issue. However, based on the forum topic I linked, is sounds like support may be able to get this issue resolved now.
