Months and months go by and I see no progress nor care for this bridge or its users at all. I've given up on this. Good luck to those who're still waiting for a fix.
Been away from Cinema for a while, but came back and installed the Bridge with the GitHub version... Still works nicely with Poser files, but it still refuses to export DUF files :(
In the meantime, I've taken to just manually pulling those out as FBX'es and reassembling them in Cinema4D. It's a tedious process but at least I can use the content I bought!
The system seems to be sending the morphs over and organizing them. I still cannot get the hand pose morphs to work. The sliders don't seem to register any changes. The Visemes and expressions work just fine. I've been working in r19 and r24.
Maybe I've missed this but, how likely is an r25 update? Even if it stays as buggy as it is now, it'd be nice to be able to use it with the current version.
daz to c4d was working perfect in the previous build. I updated the c4d bridge to daz central's current build and tried sending a model from daz into Octane and they all end up like this regardless of my settings. Any way to revert to an older build of the bridge to finish my projects?
1. Create a Cinema4D plugins folder. Inside Documents folder, create "Cinema4D". Inside that folder, create a "plugins" subfolder.
(June 6, 2022) KNOWN ISSUE:
There's currently a bug where the embedded installer will require that the plugin be installed in a "plugins" folder with all lower-case letters. This will be fixed in a later release so that there are no requirements on the name of the plugins folder.
2. Open Cinema4D and click Edit \ Preferences from the main menu.
3. Click Plugins on the left panel, then click "Add Folder" button at the bottom of the window.
4. Navigate to and select the Cinema4D plugins folder that was created in step 1.
5. Install DazToCinema4D Bridge via DazCentral or Daz Install Manager.
6. Open Daz Studio
7. Add a character or prop to the scene
8. Select File \ Send To \ Daz To Cinema 4D
9. In the DazToCinema4D Bridge window, enable the "Advanced Settings" checkbox.
10. Click "Install Plugin"
11. Navigate to and select the Cinema4D plugins folder.

It is a shame Daz doesn't seem to much care about maintaining this bridge.
