If my guts don't settle down soon, I'm going to pack up and go home to play with tentacles!

Well, it was all for a good cause, so it could be worse.

...had the grumblies all day myself made for a distraction filled day.

Playing with tentacles sounds much more preferable than leaning how to deal with people all who are hot & bothered because their phone isn't working right.

Me, I'm trying to figure out how Reality works.

83° forecast for tomorrow, then mid to upper 70s before things start going downhill in a hurry and by this time next week, 50s, rain, and out where I work, wind.(with no shelter at the bus stop).

Need to find a carpool or some kind of ride share.

I'm definitely unflated today. Head, legs, feet, neck - all hurt. :long:

My friend Trish had her father pass away Sunday morning after a massive coronary.. he was 78. She spent the day with her family while some of her friends got together to have a good cry, we also got totally drunk and today - I pay.

Today is not a good day at all.

I am rendering Andy with reality and Lux renderer. I just wanted to see if it worked before setting up a nice scene.

Andy? The manikin guy in Poser?

    Dana

The guy who loads in Poser so yes that stupid Andy.

I've never used Andy, but I think he's kind of cool looking. You can configure Poser so he doesn't load when you start it up. I just don't remember how. Richard over at fgplus2 gave instructions on how to do it once, it might be in the tutorials section.

    Dana
I caught Andy sneaking around in my Daz Studio. He tried to disguise himself with a subsurface gummy texture, but I could tell it was him.

 I picked up those gummy shaders.

    Dana
..be interesting to see them used with the Singers...gummy tentacles.

It went up to 45F here but it's going to drop again back to freezing. Makes me feel like i have an elephant standing on my ribcage. (arthritis).

It occurs to me that outside the 3D community, saying I'm DL'ing tentacles might be thought of as a bit odd.

Since it's THAT month again...how about a monster pinup thread? I'm Seeing Antfarms Flyhead in a Vargas render.

...pretty much have fallen into a regular rhythm now. Not doing much for dinner though as my lunch break is my dinnertime so just end up noshing when I get home. Friday we go live taking calls for the first time :ohh:, though in a lab setting so we will have lots of coaching support. Our class has been the quickest to progress and pick things up, so the next few days will mainly be devoted to reviewing everything we've learned over the last several weeks.

Nice to have a cashflow again. Can begin to think about what to get off the wishlist (next paycheque) as well as some more clothing for the forthcoming rainy season.

The first full moon in October is always the Hunters moon (actually it is the first full moon after the Harvest moon). What is unusual is the eclipse, but the eclipse doesn't make it a Hunters moon, just makes it more spectacular and the phenomenon is called a Blood Moon.

Today, I try wearing my contacts at work. I was having a bit of a problem late Saturday, so I wore my glasses yesterday and went to the eye doctors after work. They gave me a new pair and said it might just be the difference between what I remember with hard contacts versus soft and that I'm still adjusting from wearing glasses that may be the issue. I'm still going to have my glasses with me in my purse just in case.

Mosquitoes are so bad right now. I'm all chewed up on my left arm and legs. One of the buggers got my ankle right where the strap for my sandal sits. >_<. That wasn't there when I was putting on my sandals so it must have happened after I left the house</p>

...toasted bagel (with my new toaster) and strong British tea for brekkie.

Agh slept through the first alarm somehow (fairly loud alarm on my phone) and got up a half hour later than I anted to. Fortunately I had it set to "snooze " and if you leave it alone, it remembers to go off again until you click "OK" or manually tun it off.

Still a little down in the gut myself. Need to get some ginger ale (or NA ginger beer) on the way to work. Unfortunately, the convenience store by the workplace only carries the HFCS versions so will have to go to the natural market near here I live to get the cane sugar variety which means having to leave a bit earlier than usual.
