Fiends forever - male base - rendering wonky

I was hoping someone could tell me what I messed up. I am so excited to use the fiends forever male base. I loaded him up and set him to desert color. Then I tried to add eyebrows and a beard. In the work area it shows a smooth chocolate color. But on render, my nice chocolate boy is wearing a white face.
If anybody knows what I should do, I would be eternally grateful.

Something indeed has gone wonky with the shader the face uses. If you look in the surfaces tab, what shader does it say you are using for the face? Did you get the white face with all of the eyebrow or beard presets, or just certain ones? My guy is rendering fine, but I didn't try every option.
Somebody posted this problem with a different figure. Can't remember what the fix was, though. It's not exclusive to the Fiends Forever though.
is something to do with SubSurfaceScattering
reopening studio usually fixes it
I've had this problem with other figures, depending on the shader. Try what Wendy said, but if that doesn't work try running Studio as Administrator (right-click when opening to see that option).
please delete my post (it is obsolete now), thanks
The problem of figures going all white or black is usually the result of not have the shaders installed and/or updated or most often a corrupt 'brickyard'. In this case I think the problem is with the custom face shader used by the Fiends. You will see that the shader applies the brow shape by adding a brow color slot and a mask slot. The same thing can be done with any other shader and using Layered Image Editor.
