Daz Studio freezing up when loading Plane primative

I'm using 4.6 pro and it freezes up when I try to load the plane primative, all the others load fine. I'm wondering if something happened and it's no longer there. Where is the plane obj located so I can check to see if it's there.

What version of Studio and whats your setup?
have you tried to re-download and reinstall the latest DS?.

I looked for that crazy thing in my Data and Runtime folder, It's probably right in front of me but I couldn't find it.

I think primitives are not loaded from a file, but rather created on the fly by a plugin.
On a windows-machine the location of that file would be C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\plugins\dzprimitives.dll

I did do a new install, still doing the same thing. dzprimitives.dlll file is there in my plugins folder. I don't really know if it ever worked, I wanted to use a shadow catcher shader, I know my Yosemite Pro set has a shadow catcher plane that works, so I'll just have to go that route.

    Thanks for responding.

Silly question, perhaps, but when you get up the create primitive and select plane, what are the values for size and dimensions?

NOT SILLY! That was the problem. the default was large- 10000, I lowered it and it loads. Thanks, I never even paid attention to it.

I have noticed lag when using high (relatively speaking) values, so wondered if that may have been the issue :)
