Subdivide V4?

I know DS has a subdivide feature somewhere (is it: edit>figure>convert to SubD ?)
but not ever having used it
a) Does it work with Gen 4 figures?
b) Has anyone worked with in t in LuxRender?
c) is there any documentation on it.

Yes, you can subdivide V4, and it comes out at 267,000 quads.
I sent the result to Luxrender using Luxus, and it rendered as normal, although it took a lot longer to load than Genesis, but still acceptable.
By the way, it is Edit > Figure > Geometry > Convert to SubD.
You will find it under Edit - Figures - Geomietry - Convert to SubD
You will then find the options under the perameters tab - General - misc - Mesh resolution.
And yes it does work with LuxRender as I use Italy the while.
I normally use sub devide when I am ready to do the final render.
You can also add sub devide to items of clothing as well.
Note that adding sub devide can slow down the rendering process quite a bit depends on what level of sub devide you decide to add and how many figures/items of clothing you decide to add it to.
thanks yall!
