A big problem with a genesis content inside poser...
Hi all.
I'm still working on a comic book project. And few days ago , I fell in love with an armor model for genesis 1.
The problem started here , I don't work with Genesis , I usually work with "normal figures", V4 and M4.
So , listeniing advices, I decided to install the DSON plugin , and of course, Genesis , on my poser. It loads , no problem.
When I wanted to load the content needed for my character, it didn't work at all.
I don't know what to do , knowing that the content to install is not an exe files. So I have to put files in corresponding folders. The main problem is that the content owns 4 reps. And each ones have /data reps etc. So , DAZ studio hierarchy.
I thought it was enough to put files in corresponding folders , but it doesn't work....
What's wrong ? What Have I to do ?
The model choosen , is the Cybersuit for Genesis , from Hellfish Studio.
I'm not good working with this kind of configuration , the DSON and these kind of things... But for that model , I make an effort ^^
I don't understand what to do ...
Please help ...
Thanx a lot;

Are there PCFs -- Poser Companion Files -- for this outfit and do you also have them installed? If not, the DSON importer won't find it.
Yep , I just read fex articles about that. I didn't know it was working like that.
No , there's no PCF for this outfit , someone just adviced me to create them by my own to make me use them in poser.
Is that complicated ?
I'm wondering if I'm starting something too difficult for just one model ... lol
I'm condamned to use DAZ , even if it's just to make PCF of the outfit... Damn...
IS this the one from Xurge. He does a M4 and a V4 version of it, the Hellfish one is a conversion
It's not a figure done for Xurge , it's the cybersuit for genesis. Only available on renderosity.
And it's a nightmare... I'm asking him , on his deviant art , why not developping such an outfit for a M4 version ? :)
I hate genesis figures... |(
The Data folder goes in the same folder as your Runtime folder (e.g. Smith Micro\Poser 10 Content \), the Runtimes merge with the regular Runtime. The People folder, or any other folder that sits beside the Data and Runtime flders in the zip, also goes in the folder that holds the Runtime folder. Dimension3D has a Python script that will let you use the DSON Importer to load content with a regular file dialogue, by going to (I would guess) \People\Genesis\Clothing\ in the Poser 10 Content folder (or wherever you installed to0. Note, however, that you will certainly have to rework materials and that some content simply won't work this way.
Ok , thanx a lot for the answer.
