Auto Follow

Hi all,
How do you turn auto follow on and off in D/S 4.6 Pro and where is the Property Editor?
What exactly is it that stops the Genesis and Genesis 2 figures from working in earlier versions of D/S?
John.

Earlier versions of DS do not support weight-mapped rigging.
Do you want to turn off autofollow for a particular morph permanently, or just for a particular item that's getting distorted by one of the autofollow morphs?
Hi, that was quick.....
I'd like to know how to do both please.
Is it feasible to remove the weight mapping?
John.
You would need to export from DS4 as an .obj, then rig it from scratch in DS3.
If you have, say, a hair that's getting distorted by an autofollow morph, make sure "Show Hidden Parameters" is enabled, and dial down the offending morph in the hair.
I'd need to check on turning off autofollow for a morph completely, as I haven't done it before, but I think you should be able to do it from the Editor tab in the Parameters pane.
Thanks for the help, I'll try things out....
So I can access the property editor from the Parameters pane?
John.
In recent versions of DS the Property Editor has been replaced as, for some of us, it was unbearably slow (it took about forty minutes to refresh with Genesis selected here). Some of its functions are now in the Property Hierarchy, some in the Edit mode of the Parameters pane.
You can turn AutoFolow off for a morph, however, without needing either - just click the gear icon at the end of the slider, select Parameter Settings from the menu, and uncheck AutoFollow.
