Using Daz products with various versions of Mac Os X

The Mac OS has gone from Classic to The Rosseta compatible software and now into Lion and greater which dropped Rosseta support. The problem is I have bought stuff from Daz which I do not have any way to use them in later versions of Poser in Lion and greater. This makes me reluctant to buy more stuff that in later versions I am not going to be able to use. How do you know if what system a piece of software from Daz can be used? Has Daz created a guide to use their products.

So, has Daz worked out a solution for users of their products? Is there an app which help install the legacy products for newer Mac systems?

Yes, go to your Product Library and search for "Install Manager". The products are all packed in zips now.

Does this mean they will open up what you already have or do you download these zips? I have quite a bit of stuff from some time ago.

You would need to download the zips (the Install Manager will show you what files are available and you can select all or just some to queue up for download).

So, are some .sit files not going to be able to be used or are there zip files for everything in the Daz product line.=?

All .zip, at least for content, the older software and plugins might not be.
