Geografting - remove grafting point from graft?

Other than redoing the whole damn graft selection from scratch, is there a way to remove some faces from either the list of faces to weld to the graft, or the list of faces to hide when the graft is attached?

Grafting onto the face is a royal pain because of all the little polys, and when you get finished, apply your graft, and find you've hidden one poly too many, so you do it all again, and find you've fixed the first one but buggered up another? Bleh.
