These are not the pot plants you're looking for.

I could use some proper pot plants;)

I could too. I wish someone would sell 3D cannabis leaves, plants, flower, edibles, joints, paraphernalia and maybe even a dispensary set..The actual substance itself is legal in many states now in the US as well as many places worldwide. I wouldn't think there would be a problem selling 3D versions

2nd_world on Rendo does have a smoking paraphernalia set that includes a cannabis joint, though sadly none of the other stuff. Also a "bad stuff" set for Poser that includes a bunch of other, um, options along with some joints and nugs, though I'd be finding a different guy if I ever got ones that looked like that, lol.

I'd also like to see a set that includes flowers and edibles, papers, a grinder, etc.

I might have to get the bad stuff set for some Florida themed renders. surprise Would such items be okay to include in images posted to the Daz gallery???

...CG Trader has some smoking paraphernalia in .obj format which includes a couple grinders and many are rather affordable.

As to "potted plants", wouldn't that refer to cooked seasoned minced or ground veggies in a tin?

LOL. Where I grew up (West Coast USA and then East Coast USA after age 10), "potted plants" was for plants put into pots, but the minced/cooked/ground veggies in tins was "canned vegetables" or "canned veggies."

On the other hand, however, I do recall hearing "potted meat" for canned/cooked/minced/etc meat/animal products in tins...

It's funny how different a language can be from one place to another.

And from decade to decade.  I'm not quite up to speed on teenage slang anymore.  And I know that to my embarassment I still utter forth 50 and 60 year old, long dead, phrases.  It just ain't cool man. indecision  And now and then I find myself using phrases my great aunt used like a cheap gift being as exciting as a "tin whistle".  But at least I don't describe a delightful situation as being "the bee's knees".surprise

The American edition of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has 'potted plant' where the UK edition has 'pot plant'.

No, those would be canned vegetables. The idea of calling canned vegetables potted plants is very funny to me.I get where the meaning is coming from, but "potted plants" solely means a plant in a flowerpot.

I'm imagining the kitchen hijinks. "Can you grab me some potted plants?" <Confused person dutifully returns with a philodendron and some African violets.>

Agreed. Pot= Weed, grass, MJ, Thai Stick, The Chronic, Mary Jane, The Herb, etc, but never a potted plant. (Although we did try to grow one in a Home Depot bucket in college, but it was very weak home grown....)

I know this is an old thread, but I didn't want to loose the other posts here. https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/cannabis-sativa-plant-ea31a5768c06457ea2fd67c3eb3458b8 is a convincing model of a cannabis plant in a pot, complete with flowers (buds). https://sketchfab.com/atakujonc has a selection of buds and bongs and a couple of joints.
