#D Database

Several years ago DAZ sold a very good 3D database. It has apparently long been discontinued but I have a large collection of files in mine. For some reason the program crashed and, in spite of being removed and re-installed, it no longer will run. Is there any longer any support for it or can anyone who has it tell me the name of the database program that was used to create it and might be able to read my database?
Thank you.

ISTR the PA pulled the product because it didn't work for some people on Windows 7.
Just to be clear, the program was working just fine for me until a few days ago when it suddenly stopped. I get an error message when I try to run it. That's why I tried reinstalling it.
What's the error message, and what OS? Possibly a Patch Tuesday update last week changed something?
The program installs OK but any attempt to run it says "input past end" This isn't in reading the database because the program opens and THEN you tell it to read the database. I guess it could be a chance in Windows. I tried to see if Brilliant Database (which is what it was created from) would read it but it requires something called an "author profile" or something like that to read. I tried to contact the author but didn't get a response.
Thank you for your time.
Have you tried the usual workarounds:
1) installing outside of Program Files/Program Files (x86)
2) running as Adminstrator
3) running in Compatibility Mode?
I have tried all of those things. Understand that the program was working fine until today. I don't know what happened. It doesn't give you the option of installing to a different directory but I installed it and then moved it. It still tells me "Input past end of file". It seems to come with an empty database but I tried renaming that to see if that was the problem and it didn't help.
