Unable to import - "Error reading file, see log for more details"

I have been trying to load these nice Sci-Fi boxes :

After copying the folders to the matching ones in my content directory I see their thumbnails in the Content Library. So far, so good. Now when I double-click any of them, or go to file open to read the .DUF file, I get an error box saying

"An error occured while reading the file, see the log file for more details"

So, I go to Help/Troubleshooting/Log File and all I see in there is

"Error reading file, see log for more details"

Any suggestions on how to import those files or at least figure out what's wrong ?

Do you have the scifi boxes the surfaces are for?
Need to be loaded in scene and selected to apply the materials

As Wendy says, these are only textures for this item: http://www.daz3d.com/sci-fi-box?cjref=1&utm_source=cj&utm_medium=affiliate

You need to have it loaded first to apply these textures.

Now I feel stupid for not reading the description carefully. :(
