I always start browsing the site by using the "View all" category that isn't visible in the interface, but works like a charm when you follow this link: http://www.daz3d.com/people?cat=2&dir=asc&order=price. It sorts from the lowest price to the highest, so you can easily see if there are freebies (no matter if you are PC or not).

All this stuff can be extremely useful, because Generation 3 Iconic Shapes for Genesis gives you not only shapes, but also UV-maps and clones for fitting clothes, hairstyles and such. So, counting in the fact that I guess not so many people still buy those sets, giving them away was a brilliant marketing move again. You will love Iconic Shapes :D.

It doesn't? My bad then. This, however, raises a different point... So how do I get A3 skins to fit seamlessly :oops:...? I don't remember any problems with them.

The descriptions match up so they would appear to be the same item, just bundled together?

You'd need to use Texture Converter 2 (with the relevant plug-ins) to convert them to V4, then use that on Genesis.

Those are some definitely nice freebies. Unfortunately, given that I don't have "Iconic Gen 3 Shapes for Geneisis and don't use Gen 3 figures to begin with, only four of those items are really useful to me. Those are the two hair pieces, the Cowpokes, set and the patio furniture. The hair I can fit by simply parenting it, and Coqwpokes should autofit nicely to Genesis no problem.

But, as I don't have that plugin, how was I able to get A3 skins to work on Genesis? Automagically, perhaps, there are things inside DS none of us know of :).

Free PC bundles seem to be targeted towards newcomers, because you, old-time PC members, usually had already got them in the past...

Thanks Daz! Can we get the original Freak thrown in as well? I have the old freebie The Freaky Devil, which is a cr2 that calls for the Freak obj. It does not work well if pointed to the M3 obj.

I think that's for the shirt in the "David Clothing Bundle", which is in the Daz Vault. However, textures for the shirt in the "David Clothing Bundle" also work on the shirt in the "Hiro Clothing Bundle", which is still available.
