Magic Girl Outfits for Genesis 2 Female?

I'd love to do a Puella Madoka Magica (https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=puella+madoka+magica&newwindow=1&client=firefox-a&hs=N3g&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&channel=sb&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=vetHVN7pHsbj7QaWhICoBA&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAQ&biw=1536&bih=851) themed picture with my main Daz girl, but there's nothing out there that's tickling my fancy when it comes to the Magic Girl outfits. This is... quite unfortunate, given the release of Aiko 6 - I felt there was a rather tragic lack of anything anime styled. It was an excuse/opportunity for modellers to create lovely, intricate outfits, and instead we got generic skimp wear. =\ I mean, not even a school girl uniform for Aiko 6...? -Really-? >.>

Anyway, if anybody can suggest clothes in that fashion, I'd be delighted!

    It's been a while since I've tried to convert it, but there's always Magical Dress Platinum... I'd ADORE seeing more outfits like that one, but it's rare; the artists usually slide towards smexy instead of magical, because...well...there's money there.

    You simply MUST get Roll and Ball if you're looking for Magical Girl outfits, though! (And Diamond Glitter is also pretty nice for that, but Roll and Ball is TOTALLY a magical-girl outfit...

    The other problem is how to make an outfit like that, which doesn't appear to be a cosplay version of an outfit... (Which makes it hard for use in renders which need to be in custom/original/new universes.)

    Kitbashing also gets you a long way towards Magical outfits, fwiw.

    Hahahahahahahaha! Oh, lord, I tried the Magical Platinum dress on my girl, and it looked like one of those slutty halloween outfits! That's no fault of the creator's, though, because his work is/was magnificant, and I'd be such, such such a happy bunny (like yourself, I think) if Daz was full of delicious anime work like his! Ahhhh, a girl can dream, eh?

    Ooooo!!!!!! Diamond Glitter's sensational, and I'll get a hold of it because of how lovely it is, but I think Roll and Ball might just be the winner!!! That looks like such a fun little outfit and it even has its own little mascot with it, that fluffball, haha!!! x3

    I don't mind cosplays in the least and I snatch them up when ever I can, but it'd be great to see some original pieces - even if it's based on something but not a complete cosplay piece. I think, though, you're right about the kitbashing! That's something I really need to exercise more; do you have any advice on kitbashing yourself? Particularly in regards to making the textures match up so that it seems more like a complete outfit?

    Anyway, thank you for the advice - a lot!!!!

    Oh, yeah, the Magical Platinum outfit probably...won't look right when (1) autofit + (2) on larger...chested females. :P

    I went off on a quest, and came back with Vectorized Nature which has a sailor uniform, two swimsuit-y things, a bunny suit and some other equally excellent stuff for G2F...

    Check it out!

    Can you convert wardrobe and hair from Aiko 3 and Aiko 4? Depending on which Iconic Shapes you have, you might be able to convert these to Genesis, then autofit them to G2F:

    Just to note, I think that Wafoo Goth also might be pretty nice for Magical Girl outfits. Textured (e.g. with shaders) a little more...flamboyantly than it is currently, admittedly.

    What could also work is the Skylys outfit by Aeon Soul on Runtime DNA. It is available for G2F :) Not sure if linking is ok in this context, but easy enough to find :)
