LAMH and GenX question

I recently reset my computer to factory setting, but that is another topic. I am installing everything that is DIM but I realize that I have LAMH player and LAMH for Daz Studio and also GenX and GenX2 in my DIM list. What happens if I have both versions of both programs installed at the same time?
I thought I read that LAMH player is only for ones who do not have LAMH for Daz Studio and also GenX2 replaces GenX (1). I have a lot of content to download, but is there an option in DIM to ignore LAMH player and GenX (1)? Or will it break something if they are installed with the better version?

In the DIM, right click on the LAMH Player product name and select Hide Package(s) and LAMH Player. Then DIM won't show it to you anymore unless you check Display Hidden.
