Character Aura and Energy effects?

Hey there, I've been looking around a bit forstuff like aura and energy effects that you could add to a character. Basically to make it look like they're powering up or giving off a lot of energy, as well as doing some kind of big energy based attacks.

Think of stuff like the super saiyan auras and energy attacks from dragon ball as an example.

Anyone know if there's anything like that around?

Both the PAs also do a lot of similar stuff individually, so take a browse through their stores. Also, familiarize yourself with the Iray bloom filter (or learn how to fake it in post) because without that any magical effects will just look like a jagged blob.

https://www.daz3d.com/iray-fireworx is also a great product. It's mainly used for realistic fire, but it has materials for colored flames.
