Sharp shadows with distant light

Hi
Can anyone tell me how to set up a distant light to give tight sharp shadows like natural bright sunlight?
Thanks a bunch for any recomendations!

    Use Raytraced shadows instead of shadow maps.


    There is a wonderful tutorial on Lights and Cameras for DS - http://digilander.libero.it/maclean/DStutorial.htm - It was made with version 1 of the software but function has not changed though more was added to the cameras.
