ZOMBIE-3 coupon not working?

Is it me or is the Zombie-3 coupon not working? It's supposed to give you $3 off of any daz originals purchase. It does NOT exclude new release since it does NOT say so. I'm wanting to purchase the new item Intimate Evening bundle and it tells me the coupon code is invalid. Did I misunderstand something?

Yeah...I am purchasing the bundle plus the additional texture set so it's a bit over $16...then even added 2 new DAZ Orig items bringing it to over $21 and still no go. Good to see it's not just me. Thanks.
This coupon does say it excludes New releases.
The on-site message seems to be missing the exclusion text (it said $3 Off*) but the email that was sent out said "“When you spend $15 or more on DAZ Originals - Excludes new releases, gift-cards and memberships. Expires Nov. 1, 11:59PM (MST).”"
I had the same idea, but I see from posts further down that it's the same old same old ... excludes anything that you might want to buy.
Maybe I'm being just a tad picky, but the title of the e-mail is "We goofed" ... allegedly by advertising an item at $2.99 when it was actually $9.99 (I didn't even see the goof because I've lost interest in the deluge of promotional e-mails). But if they goofed, then surely to un-goof they should offer a coupon of $9.99 - $2.99 = $7. And if they really want to un-goof, then allow it to apply to all DAZ Originals.
But I guess they didn't goof up badly enough for that to happen ;) Maybe next time.

It does explain it, sadly, and as I am not at home and do not have access to my account email I only went by the banner
Is it off sale priced items? I tried using it on an item in the M4/v4 sale which is a daz original, but, did not work.

I assume in this case, the 'final' price needs to be over $15.. so give that a shot :)
I tried an order of 3 DO (new items) in excess of $15 total, plus 1 x $2.99 DO (not new) and the coupon was invalid (forget the name of the item but it was a texture set for the Corvidae dress).

No exclusion. The banner popped up, I clicked and no exclusion. Spent an hour looking for product, and since I wanted Girl 6, I guess it didn't work, but the first I saw of the exclusion was when looking for the reason on the forums. I think the banner coupon should be honoured as presented.
Didn't work for me either after adding non-new and over 15$ DAZ originals to my order. Saved me $ in the end as I removed the DAZ original from the order.
