Halter dForce Dress Collection G8F
A collection of models of ladies' dress, rigged in DAZ Studio for Genesis 8/8.1 Female, intended for use with dForce dynamic cloth simulation. Basic and Hi-rez (subdivided) versions are included; both models share the same UV map and any textures for this item will work on both versions. A good assortment of Iray materials are included, as well as some shaders that allow for various degrees of transparency simulating thread weave.
Four skirt lengths are included: Ankle length, knee length, mini, and micro.
High poly versions are included because they can wrinkle and fold much more than the base version; depending on what you want this may not be important to you. Working with the high rez version takes quite a lot more prep time so be aware of this before choosing.

I know it's probably old news to everybody but me but I really love how once you set a dynamic dress up, you can just fit it onto pretty much any damn combination of bone scales and morphs and it will be sized pretty correctly when you simulate it, e.g. that character in the green dress is about 5 foot 1 inch and in the old days that would have been a tremendous pain to fit that to her before even getting started, now it's just boink, ready to simulate :)
I had started modeling knee and short length versions of this and realized, y'know, I can just delete part of the skirt right in D|S and save a whole bunch of work and keep identical UV maps, so I'm gonna do that and these will be done pretty shortly.
No pun intended
Thank you for this and future renditions.
knee length done
mini done
Micro done
just need to make some pretty icons and a promo image and I'll put them all up for download (I guess I might as well bundle all 8 and list them together)
Complete, re-listed on ShareCG and updated the OP with a new download link/sample images etc. The documentation also got updated a lot (I realized the on/off state of the smoothing modifier was not saved into the Wearable preset). Enjoy!
A tester reported a problem with the material files so I redid them and updated the ShareCG listing, if you had this problem please re-download and overwrite!
Thanks bunches, also downloaded the starter you posted there.
A couple of people have done some nice textures for this set:

Thank you very much!

Can tell when a bit of clothing hits the mark, suddenly lots of alternative textures appear.
