I have found that lately when I buy your items I am sort of stuck loading them into DS if I want to use them in Poser Pro 2014. That is all find and dandy if that is what you guys want us to do. However, now that I have Loaded DS Pro onto my computer and am trying to get it set up I find that I have lost my morph forms for V4. Did I lose these because I did an errant setup or do I now need to load everything I use through DS to use it in PP2014 if so I think I am going to take my losses and pull your program off my machine. it is turning into a giant hassle. Please give me some advice.

The problem may be that you have more than one install of Victoria 4, you can only have V4 installed into one runtime folder.

When you install content for DAZ Studio, it usually goes into a folder called 'My Library' or when using DIM, 'My DAZ 3D Library', and inside that folder, there is a folder called 'Runtime' that is there specifically for Poser content. All of the DAZ 3D Figures prior to Genesis were in Poser format, and Poser should be able to read from that folder if it is set up as library folder inside Poser.

There is no need to install Poser content in two different places, DS can read the Poser Format file from the runtime folder in My DAZ 3D Library (or whatever name you give it), and so can Poser.

Inside this folder C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library\Runtime\Libraries\!DAZ you should find a file called
DzCreateExPFiles-V4.bat which needs to be run when installing V4 manually to create the EXP files, but I believe that DIM does that for you. This can only be setup for one runtime, and if you have two installs of V4 this will be broken.

The idea of the Poser DSON importer is that you can use Genesis etc in Poser without having to use DS.

You are not locked into any specific folder when installing with DIM. People please open the Preferences (click the gear icon) when you first run DIM and look and study. DIM is one of the best and easiest to use bit of software DAZ has ever made.
