If you want to up your creative game, I found these art books online that have quite alot of information.

    Wow. I remember most of these in the Art Book rack at the Hobby Shop when I was a kid. In fact, I think I may have a copy of "Figure Drawing For All It's Worth" stuck in with my old Preston Blair Animation books...

    The one thing is, I don't think these books are actually Public Domain in the U.S. Copyright is 1947 on Creative Illustration and 1923 is usually the automatic cutoff date. It's different in the U.K., Australia and other places though, so while these may be web safe some places...

    I didn't have time to specifically look these titles up, but there are definitely some Viking Press titles that are being published as PD in the U.K. that are still under copyright in the states: http://www.readingproust.com/copyrite.htm
