Can items be marked as already installed?

I transferred all of my content to an external drive and now the Install Manager thinks I need to reistall everything again. Is there a way to mark everything as installed instead of hiding them? I have changed the downloads and Installation paths to my external drive.

If you saved the downloaded files then you should probably copy all of this over to the new drive as well I think
    C:\Users\Public\Documents\DAZ 3D\InstallManager

Maybe just the files in the ManifestFiles files folder if not?

Thanks for your reply. I did transfer the InstallManager Downloads file to the new drive, but instead of wanting to download everything, it wants to install everything.

Did you transfer this folder too?

    C:\Users\Public\Documents\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\ManifestFiles

Yes, I transferred everything in that folder to the new drive. But it's ok, it's better than having to re-download everything. The reinstallations are going quickly.

Not sure if this will help, but I recently did a bunch of library moving, which led to various edits in the manifests,...details here:

It seems that the only way that DIM will think everything is installed is if I leave the manifest on the main drive. I can't seem to get it to store anything new in the manifest on the external drive.

You can tell DIM where to find the manifests by editing C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\UserAccounts\Account.ini, specifically

    OverrideManifestDir=

Moving the manifests files wont help. They have to be edited so they list the new location of the installed files.

    Thanks Richard, that worked.

True. I'd moved only the manifests, leaving the installed files in place.
